  5. You can also use this mixture to clean the Swiffer bottle.
  6. After that, re-attach the bottle and use the Swiffer again.

Lubricate The Swiffer Pump Motor 

Basically, the pump motor is blocked, and its main reason is dust and small pieces of debris. You will easily fix this issue by lubricating your pump motor, for you need a screwdriver and a dry lubricant.

  1. In the first step, simply remove the Swiffer bottle.
  2. Now, use the screwdriver and unscrew the nuts from it.
  3. After unscrewing the nuts, again unscrew the larger tank using the screwdriver.
  4. Remove the cover from the Swiffer.
  5. Now, in the next step, using any flat screwdriver, simply try to turn the motor manually.
  6. Now, in the next step, apply the dry lubricant to that pump motor. If you see any rusted terminals, then you can also use these parts to lubricate them.
  7. Now press the start button and check whether the motor will start working or not. If the motor still does not work, then the motor needs to be replaced.

Spray The Nozzle With A Strong Stream Water Pressure 

If the Swiffer nozzle is clogged and jammed, then I would recommend you spray the nozzle with a strong stream of water pressure. It will help to unclog the nozzle.

Place The Solution Bottle Correctly
